I am wondering if anyone knows how to create wireframe text in flash...text with a white outline so that you can se through it..or something to that effect..I'm hoping what I'm saying makes sense.

I applied for I485 like many others in July. I just heard my group may be spun off from its parent company and might be funded by VCs. Does this mean I cannot use my LC/I140? If/When I get my EAD will it be valid?

I am not sure if it was posted before, the immigrant visa fee will go up to $400 from $380 effective January 1, 2008.
Also, Bombay and Madras consulates switched to NVC appointment processing (NVC takes over the scheduling of immigrant visa appointments). Delhi and Calcutta are still standard processing posts, but expect them to be converted in the near future as well.
Chinese, Japanese, Australian and some other (mostly Asian) consulates still follow standard processing, but expect them to be converted in 2008 as well.
They convert consulates without any notice to the public, so always check here before sending in DS-230 and supporting documents:

How much time does it take for 485 to get approved with a visa number available. I applied for 485 after my i-140 was approved. Does the priority date have anything to do with processing for 485?

I am working on my H1B and on I-140 approved Stage. At the same time I have applied for I-485 as Derivative applicant on my wife's application and also got the Advanace Parol.
If I use the AP (obtained based on wife's application) will my H1B got invalidated? My intention is keep my H1B and to avoid the H1B stamping.

Hi,
I am renewing advance parole (i-131 form) for me and my wife. Can some one answer what the "class of admission" means on the form and how do we fill it?
I entered the US as H1-B but moved to EAD status last month.
My wife entered the US on advance parole and is currently working on EAD.

Class of Admission is the status you were admitted into US. You entered on h1b and your wife on AP and thats the class of admission :)

My I-485 is pending with PD of Oct 11 2006(EB2 India). I have been on H1 as was not able to add my spouse to my initial 485 application. As my H1 expires on Sep 6, we recently filed for H1/4 extension and received an RFE for Employee-Employer relationship. We have to answer this by Sep 13. As a Plan B, What we did in June 2010 was
a) I filed for my EAD
b) My spouse got admitted into a school here and applied for COS from H4 to F1 with a valid I-20.
Both of these cases are currently pending.. My questions are:
1) As our H1/4 and I-94 expires on Sep 6, Would we still be in legal status after Sep 6 as both of our cases (EAD and COS) are pending?
2) After answering the RFE, if it is denied, would it impact my GC processing?
3) I understand that even if my H1 is denied, As I have a pending EAD, my status would be okay but what options would we have if my Wife's case is denied.

I know that this is not a "Green card related" question but an important question that I hope someone will answer. I am planning to use EAD after my I140 approval and jump to consulting business. I have thought about Self-employment but it sounds like it is risky. Are there any good consulting companies which charge very less percentage for having me as an employee on EAD. I hope that company can send AC21 and continue my GC processing.

LC was approved in 08-20-07 but I-140 was not filed within 180 days according to new rules. has any body have this problem? will DOL or USCIS let it slip. please help.

Yesturday night, I saw Charlie Rose Show, in which he first interviewed Andi Carr and then RAHM EMANUEL Representative (D-IL)....
In the middle of conversation, Charlie asked Rahm about what Dems agree and disagree and how they will work with President. He replied that there is no all disagreement. He said Dems agree on Tax reform as well as Immigration. Then he went on to talk about favoritism to CIR.
It seems like winning the election even while being on Immigration side as well defeat of Representatives J.D. Hayworth and Randy Graf (Hardcore Immigrant Haters) have embolden Dems that Immigration is not as taboo as it was once thought. I have a feeling that they will get this done sooner than later. :)

Hi,
I got an LUD on my I140 on 07/28/07. There is no message change though. This I-140 was approved way back in Aug 2006. I have filed my I-485 etc on June 1st 07, and its in process. Does anyone know what doesn this LUD mean.
