we are on last stage approved i-130 USA citizen for married daughter.
because we overstayed in USA since 1996 here do we have to leave country since we applied only in 2003?
this would be a disaster since we have nobody in Italy that con support us until get a waiver from USA counsolate....they said about 9 months if everything is ok...
my only hope is that a read something about cancellation of deportation and adjustment of status here in USA no needed to leave country...how dangerous can be to start this process, wile waiting for last stage of i-130?
i have good business, house, cars, furniture here and always paid taxes. 2 USA kids. thanks gimme hope

New/amended 140, if the LC states correct job requirements (assuming the mistake was made on 140 application).
New LC if old LC states incorrect job requirements.
I have a Masters Degree in the US and the 5 yr experience required for the EB2 also the position requires it; however my lawyer made a mistake and asked for an EB3.
I already received my I-140 and my I-485 was filed at the same time.
What can I do to change to EB2?

Now a days VFS is not releasing appointment dates more than 2 - 2.5 weeks in advance. I am not aware of any specific time of the day when these become available.

Hi,
I'm GC holder and i've applied for reentry permit and the validity is 2 yrs.
I've been living in INDIA for the past 10 months and now i want to go back to US.
I'd been filing my taxes and all but was not working for any US company for the past 10 months.
Will there be any issues at the POE when i return to US?..Usually POE officer asks the questions like where do you work and what was the reason you went to INDIA..
Is it Ok to tell the officer that i'm not working?
Please share your thoughts

Hi All,
With my HTC Mozart, I can download app called 'Stocks' which basically look after stocks (nasdaq etc...).
The charts/graph looks very nice and I wonder how they do that ?

I wonder if there are free/open ressource which can help to start to draw so nice graph. Any blog or hyperlink are welcome :ch:

The immigration voice news desk (the toolbar for immigration related news on homepage is back).
So we can have all the updates from across the country related to immigration here. This toolbar, as many of you may know, is based on news items from google news that have matching keywords.
Very soon we will be adding the tab "Presidential elections and immigration" so that we get the latest on that front too.
The rally picture of Washington DC rally on Sept 18 has been moved to "additional news items and archives" page

I think you have the wrong information. Senate is not ready to vote on it yet. S 2198 which is a part of PACE and holds relevance to the employment based immigration is still in committee hearings.

Hi,
My kid brother (15 years old and US Citizen) lives in India with my parents. They are quite elderly now to take care of him and we were thinking of bringing him to US legally to live with us. We want to adopt him so that he can have a good lifestyle here and have no issues legally in future. Is there anyone who has gone through similar case before ? Also, I wanted to ask if there are any attorneys that specialize in cases like these ? If so please let me know and I would like to hold a consultation asap.

It can be done in Swift 3D. First, create a box. Then create a pyramid shape and place it above the box. Color the pyramid red and the box a white or brown. You now have a house. You can initiate the process for both of you individually. Means u can apply Labor, I-140 individually. After that while applying I-485 its advaisable to move with the lawyer suggestion. So till I-140 you both can apply individually.

Hi all!
I'm currently working on a personal project of mine (word processor) and there are a few things i cannot seem to get my head around and i think that they are very simple to do too...Maybe... First, I'm trying to open a new instance of my program by simply clicking a menu option on my form. i'm using visual c# 08 express edition, windows forms application... I have attached an image (very small image) to show u what i mean.. i'd appreciate anyone's help/advice on this, thanks for reading :-)

In years past, many remember that the H-1B quota was exhausted as early as the first day of applications. Last year, the H-1B cap was not reached until January the following year. I would anticipate that with the economy still rebounding, the H-1B quota will last a significant amount of time. This will also ensure that everyone who can find a job offer this year will have a chance to make an H-1B application. To retain the PD, you would need the copy of the I140. Without that, there isn't much that can be done when you switch companies to keep your PD.
